Where should I look for a puppy?
I would like to look for a husky x mixed breed puppy somehwere in Minnesota, preferabley close to Coon Rapids, Blaine, Ham Lake, ect. I've looked it up online, but there are never any ads for anything close enough. If you know of any mixed breed litters that are available for adoption, please let me know!

- Have you tried petfinder.com? http://www.petfinder.com/ "Robbed," that's a great way to put it Heidi. *rolls eyes* I believe Yahoo Answers has an age requirement of 13 or older.
- I don't associate w/greedy negligent mutt-making BYBs!!!!

- Pound, Animal Shelter. Don't go to breeders. More dogs in the pound, animal shelter needs homes.
- your local shelter or www.petfinder.com
- your local shelter. petfnder.com or domesticbreeds.com
- I would suggest petfinder.com as well, it's a great source. You could also pick up the Dogs Annual magazine that has many different breeds of dogs and breeders. If your getting a husky mix, I really hope you have time and space to run your dog, or else it might drive you crazy. Husky need a lot of exercise and they love to run. If you can roller blade, and have a nice paved path around your house, try and harness the dog and let him pull you around the park. You will have to help though, just try and keep up with him. Be sure not to over work your dog as well though, as they will go forever! My husky loved doing this, and by the end of the day he was ready to just laze around and relax.
- A good place to start is a local animal shelter or breed rescue. I don't suggest going to a breeder or pet store. The rescued dogs need love and a forever home, which they may not have had ever before. Good Luck!
