1. What steps has the bank taken so far? Have you spoken to a local Realtor about doing a possible short sale on your house? I don't know if you've waited to long, however, the best thing to do would be contact a Realtor in the area and ask them about doing a short sale on the house. It will help save your credit a little, your only option from this point is to rent somewhere and immediately start working on repairing your credit.
