  1. www.petfinder.com that's about the only place you might find a small breed puppy that cheap.
  2. Most yorkie puppies that I see cost around $1,200 so for $100, I don't think you are going to find anything. Just save up if you want a puppy. For me, I adopted a 9 year old yorkie from a shelter and he was a great dog. He cost under $100.
  3. I'm in MN - have you tried looking on craigslist (mpls/st.paul)? They usually have a lot of small dogs like that looking for homes.
  4. Try Craigslist.com. It's personal classified ads for tons of things. Just look under the pets section or the free section. Make sure to watch out for scams. Although Craigslist is pretty good about keeping scammers out a few slip through sometimes. You can also post your own ad saying youre looking for a puppy and for what price so others can email you if they have something they think you might be interested in. Good luck!
  5. Lucky Dog in Detroit Lakes has two small dogs available. Max, a Chi/Pom mix: http://www.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=13354284 It's noted that he doesn't do too well with young kids but would probably be okay with kids 10+ Reno, a Pomeranian: http://www.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=13328173 Both have an adoption fee of $150, with a $20 refund once you give them proof of a Vet certificate that they've been neutered. Good luck!
  6. If you cannot find what you are looking for in a shelter or through a rescue, then you are likely out of luck if you are bound to spending only $100. Pups are not cheap because breeding ethically is not cheap. Breeders have costs invested in their programs that they have to try to cover by charging for the pups they decide to place. Expecting a discount/free dog comes across as very arrogant and rude to breeders. It's as if saying the dogs are not worth the time and money that has been invested in them. Take your time and search for a reputable breeder. Research the breeds first to better enable you to select a quailty representation of the breed. While you are doing that, save your money so that you can afford one.
  7. You can look for responsible breeders on our site. We have over 700 purebred breeders all over North America. You can find many responsible breeders online, just make sure you visit the breeder and not make payments online and do some research. If you cannot visit a breeder, ask for references.
