- The River Verdon this has rapids of Class II and III, the river is great for all seasons and best for both beginners and experienced rafters. And get a local guide, those rapids can be a bit wild at times. Best of luck with the trip
- In the alps you have Isere and Doron, Isere is 22 kims long and have all levels of skills. You also have the Verdon, avoid summer as it is the dry season and the water can be too low for real good white water rafting. http://www.aboard-rafting.com/GB/introduction/indexGB.html Here is something that could help you. A site specialised in rafting in France. http://www.coureurs-rivieres.com/anglais/home_gb.html
