what town is half way between ames and cedar rapids iowa?

im in ames and a friend is in cedar rapids and we would like to meet half way for dinner ... what town should we meet in? marshalltown is 52 mins from me but 1 hour and 39 mins from cedar rapids :( whichs sucks because they have alot of resturants to pick from!

I dont know how often this site is updated etc. or perhaps Grinnell. http://www.urbanspoon.com/n/169/42486/Iowa/Grinnell-IA-restaurants Marshalltown has interstate for both of you, without going off on a dinky 2 lane highway. ( I believe) I know there is an exit in Des Moines for Marshalltown and I believe the interstate goes right to it. I went to a race there once, but I wasnt driving, so dont remember much about the road.
Try Tama - there are a couple restaurants there with the casino being nearby -- it is 1 hr and 6 minutes from Ames and 1 hr from Cedar Rapids - so right in the middle. Try the King Tower Cafe for a cute hole in the wall restaurant with good food. -- also as you probably know their is no interstate between Ames and CR it is Hwy 30, Interstate 80 would be completly out of the way and so would grinnell
