Need to find an awesome vacation spot!! HELP!!?
My fiancee and I want to plan a honeymoon trip. We don't like the usual "honeymoon" spots - islands, cruise ships... we want something fun. WE are getting married in October, but would like to wait at least a month (or more) before going on vacation. The things we like to do are: snowboarding, canoeing, going to spa, camping... we are pretty open to new things. We just want to go somewhere relaxing, and still have things to do. We HATE golf. We are young, both are 21, so non of the bed-n-breakfast places or anywhere aimed at older people. We live in Michigan, and can't afford too much - we would be willing to drive somewhere or fly. If any one has a sweet idea for an affordable vacation, let me know! Or, if you know a good website to find cool vacations send it my way. THANKS!!!

- Try either the Great Wolf Lodge in the Wisconsin Dells or Cedar Point Theme park (they have special honeymoon hotels). Both are awesome and 1 week at the GWL will cost maybe $800 (i'm not sure) but a week at Cedar Point maybe $1200-1400. But both are awesome- and not just from a kid's POV. Try to pick a week/weekend that will be uncrowded, they're always better that way.
- I am from Massachusetts, I know its not close to you, but my husband and I got married and we didn't want to go far from home, so we went to Boston. We stayed in the Honeymoon Suite at the Radisson. BEAUTIFUL. We go to Boston regularly, but when you are there for yourselves (with out kids, or on business) its amazing. The things you can go to and see, that you didn't before. I don't have websites to recommend, but you could look it up on Google. Like I said AMAZING! Where you are still young, like we are, it's definitely a trip to take. Congrats and hope this will help.
