  1. No A) I wouldn't wanna swim in your blood, and you wouldn't wanna swim in someone else's blood. B) You'll stain your swimsuit C) It'll be really embarrassing Just try putting it in while sitting on the toilet, that was the final trick for me. Eventually you'll learn your own "angle"
  2. you need a tampon period ... sorry no pun intended
  3. no you really should use a tampon...it would just be messy if you dont. i like tampax pearl brand the best. get "lite flow" they are thinner and easier to insert. with tampax pearl the wrapper is purple. just make sure you change it often. every hour if its heavy flow. oh and btw i dont know where the rumor started but YOU DO BLEED WHILE IN THE WATER. what do you think happens to your body's blood?? you know the kind that goes to your heart and brain to keep you alive?! well it flows!! if your tampon is too uncomfortable, you probably dont have it pushed in far enough. only the string should hang out of you.
  4. what the h*** kind of question is this, this is common sense
  5. The blood will not actually come out IN the water, because its pressurized, the problem is after you get out it might like overflow so you may need to grab a towel or something I have gone white water rafting with my period once and it wasn't a problem at all, even if i jumped in the water :) just bring a few pads and change as you would normally do, but maybe more occasionally :) Don't force yourself to use tampons, i kinda hate them too, i only use it at night when i sleep because i can't feel it its so uncomfortable to walk while having it on :S so yeah, this is what i think
  6. To get the tampon in I would recommend: -Using the tampax pearl brand and get the LIGHT ones 1. sit on the toilet and lean back in a relaxed position. Spread your legs enough to comfortably fit your hand down there 2. take a deep breath so your body fully relaxes and put the tampon Hopefully you'll be able to get the "light" tampon in and then gradually work up to the bigger size tampons.
  7. You need to wear a tampon, if you dont its not sanitary! Helpful tip on inserting a tampon put one foot up on the toilet while inserting. Get a lite tampon, they are smaller. depending on your flow you may need to change it more often. be sure to put in a fresh tampon before you enter the water and after you exit the water.
