How much would it cost to build a water park?

How much would it cost to build a water park like Splish Splash? I already have land to build the park on but how much would it cost me to design and build the water park? Also one more question: Do you any company in China that builds these water parks? Maybe they can supply the equipment or even build it... I would really appreciate your help. Thank you

1. If your really serious about this, then you should look deeper than Y!A, but If you are looking to add slides, lazy rivers, wave pools, etc., I would say from 1 mill-3 mill for the slides and attractions, maybe less, maybe more. You should look for sponsoring that would pay you money to advertise in the park also.
2. It would cost much much more than 1-3 Million. In 2005, after purchasing it from Six Flags, Cedar Fair spent 26 Million on improvements to Wildwater Kingdom near Cleveland, Ohio. Keep in mind this was on improvements and not on building from the ground up. And still, in comparison to others, Wildwater Kingdom isn't an impressive water park. This doesn't include the massive red tape you'll need a bulldozer to dig yourself out from under. Unless you're wealthy (not rich), and I'm assuming you're not because you're posting on Yahoo! or you have a wealthy private investor, I recommend you look for other uses for your land. Sorry to step on any hopes/dreams but the sheer cost and red tape coupled with the economy and a pretty saturated market make this a very hard field to break into.
