my family is going upnorth this summer and we want to stay in nice cottages?

we need a nice place that will have enough cottages for about 4 or 5 families, in northern Michigan, we want to be able to go tubing and canoeing and have bonfires, does anyone have anywhere they think would be nice? whethers they have been there or heard of a place?
