Where are the best places to go white-water rafting in Colorado?

1. Arkansas River, Between the cities of Buena Vista and Salida are some of the best rapids. I would look at Johnstown and find a river raft guide there. Have fun!!!!
2. Glenwood Springs is a great town for that too. I don't know the names of any outfitters though. You could probably find some through the Glenwood Springs Chamber of Commerce.
3. Canon City (Royal Gorge) area. I went with ECHO and had a great time! They offered several different packages to choose from. Affordable & fun.
4. We went to Idaho Springs last year and had a blast! The outfitter was Clear Creek Rafting.
