Where is this river that runs red?

I just saw a news item on TV, a river running red as blood. People are said to be in the process of testing it to discover the source of the red color. I saw it, it is very red indeed. Looks like a steady stream of merlot wine. Problem is, I did not catch the location of the river, and I cannot find anything on it on the internet. Anyone know about this? Where is this river located? This could be prophesy fulfilled.
