I am flying to Grand Rapids Michigan with a connection flight through Chicago from Denver?

I got some buddy passes from a friend that works for Delta and don't want to get stuck in any airport to or from.. What are the best days and times to fly in and out of Chicago to and from Denver and Grand Rapids?

1. Chicago airspace is ALWAYS over booked. Your best bet is first thing in the morning, so the delayed flights haven't had time to stack up.
2. Most of the time missed connections are as a result of bad weather. So that being the case its very hard to predict. But your best chance is by taking the very first flying out of the Denver as to avoid airport back-ups.
