What is there to do for enjoyment in Grand Rapids, Michigan on the weekends?
I am planning a trip to Grand Rapids, Michigan in spring 2009 and I was wondering what can I do for enjoyment on the weekends in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

- Van Andel Museum and The Bob.
- Visit the President Ford Library and museum see where Pres. Ford is buried and see as piece of the Berlin Wall go fishing along the shore of the Saginaw river I've heard that some whopper fish are caught in the river go to the Meijer gardens http://www.meijergardens.org/gardens_experience/ you have to go to the unique one of a kind Big Boy http://www.bison.com/press_bigboy_01092003
- The ice pick in Muskegon is a great place.
- Mr K- The Jerry Ford Museum is pretty cool ... they have the exact stair case from the top of the US Embassy in Saigon where the last Hueys took off from. good times Take a walk through College Hill just east of downtown Go fishing at the fish ladder get lunch at the Pantland Head to Lake Michigan at Holland oh I forgot the Fred Meyer Botanical Gardens are fab as are is the sculpture gardens on the same grounds. It's a must see.
- Henry fords museum and memorial. And you can check out some of the events that are going on at van andel arena. Other than that, there isn't much to do in grand rapids.
