canoeing?? ok so there is this guy that i really like and he wants me to go canoeing with him and his friends.Im so nervous.I've never been canoeing before..whats it like?Does it go fast,will it tip over?Do you get soaking wet?I keep picturing it to be like what you see on tv..goin thru all the rough water and down slopes and stuff?I know this all sounds stupid..but i know nothing about it..someone plz tell me about it.......

How would i go about canoeing from Manchester to Hertfordshire using canals? I own two canoes, and all going to plan, this summer 4 of us will be canoeing down to Herts from Manchester. Went canoeing in the Boundary Waters Wilderness Area and while camping heard a ball bouncing in a distance.? I would guess that it was a frog or critter of some sort, but it still remains a mystery to me and my friend. We heard the same sound on a different Island thus ruling out the possibility of any waterfall like arrangement making such a sound. The sound was a low frequency thumping noise, exactly like a ball bouncing on a hard surface. Can anyone suggest a possible source of this noise?

Anybody go canoeing on the Buffalo River in Tennessee? I just went for the first time on memorial weekend and it was great! Everything you could ask for in a day on the river. Cliffs to jump off of, rope swings, caves, beautiful water, and lots of scenery. Anyway, I plan on going several more times this year and wanted to see if there were any others out there that go.

I got my mobile wet when I went canoeing in the sea on Monday? Now it is green in places (the electrical contacts) and doesn't work. It won't start up and won't charge. I was in France and couldn't take it apart to dry it properly, but I washed it under a fresh water tap and left it on the radiator over night to dry it. But nothing as of 3 days later.
