I'm planning a canoeing trip down the ardeche river. i want it to last about 3 days, but i dont know where to start on the river inorder to make the trip last 3 days, or where the camp sites are along the way. painful lump on my butt cheek after canoeing trip? i went canoeing with my grade today, on a 7 mile trip. after i got home, i noticed pain on BOTH butt-cheeks (ugh) i thought it could be some sort of spider bite or bug bite (there were many bugs) however, the lumps are only slightly tinted red with no "head", i have no idea what they are! it is very painful to sit or lay on my back. what is this? what should i do?

K everyone....I am looking for any designs to help in carrying a food barrel on canoe trips? We usually just carry it by hand...but sometimes that gets pretty heavy on a long portage! Im going canoeing on my period and I'm not sure if I should get in the water or not? I have family coming in to visit and when ever we all get together we plan a big canoeing trip but I'm supposed to start my period a day or two before and I'm not sure if I should get in the water or if I should just not go. The trips usually last seven or eight hours and we stay in the boats the hole time except for when we go swimming theres not any where were we pull the boats over except to eat lunch and that's on this big rock in the middle of the river and to go swimming. I usually use O.B tampons and my periods only a little heavy but I'm the only girl in my family and all the guys are big into wrestling with each other and I'm afraid that if I do go and end up not being able to get in the water then one of the guys is going to push me in or thell flip my canoe.... So if anyone has some advice on what I should do I'd really appreciate the advice. And sorry if anythings spelt wrong my spellcheck keeps messing up...

I have my period & a canoeing trip sunday =/ help. PLEASE ANSWER SOON! I NEED TO KNOW? Okay so it 12:35AM so it just turned into saturday, and i got my period on Thursday. I have this canoeing trip Sunday, and I'm scared my period won't be done by then... normally my period isn't that long only like 3 days, but that's only sometimes. The first two days of my period the flow has been pretty normal not too heavy, but definitely not as light as it usually is. I'm really scared it's not going to lighten up or be over, by Sunday! Do you think it will lighten up saturday so it will be over and okay for sunday? I would just suck it up and use a tampon on Sunday but I'm REALLY scared to use one i never did before and I'm scared as anything, and have no idea how they work. Any advice? Do you think i'll be okay for sunday? so your saying stress makes the period last longer?

should i work out my chest today if i have an all day canoe trip tommorrow? Ok, I usually work out monday wednesday and friday. Well, today is monday and I am supposed to work on building my chest muscles. However, we have a school canoe trip scheduled tommorrow starting at 8 AM and ending at around 2 PM. I was wondering if it would be a good idea for me to still work out today? I will probably have sore chest muscles tommorrow, but I don't want to work them even more, as that could to more damage. back is out of the question because I'm still sore from friday, and I would be using my biceps and triceps for canoeing tommorrow.
