Best place to go whitewater rafting in southeast? Me and my friends are trying to plan a trip to go whitewater rafting anywhere in Georgia or reasonably close. Any suggestions? Keep in mind we are athletic 18 year old guys so the more intense the better.

What is there to do in Ellijay, Georgia? my mom wants to do tourism on historical things about the indians that once lived there, so is there any of that? is it pretty up there? is it good for photography cause i LOVE photography. and are there any fun things to do there? like amusement parks, whitewater rafting that WONT be too cold, etc?

Places to camp and canoe in Georgia? I need some recommendations for places where a group can camp and canoe for a weekend. No whitewater rafting; we're looking for a campground close by a scenic waterway that is mostly calm so we can take in the wildlife around us but also has a few rapids navigable by canoe. I've checked different websites (one listed a river on the Georgia coast that had alligators in it; why anyone would want to canoe that is beyond me) but I'd rather have personal recommendations. If you could list how many times you've canoed this waterway and why you are recommending it, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

Sweet 16 ideas? (BESIDES A PARTY!) Please help, it's appreciated(:? I'm not looking to do anything extravagant like on TV, but I'd like to do something special with a group of friends, (8+). I live in Georgia so anyone around there might know of some actual places. I was thinking about going Whitewater Rafting in Tennessee with my boyfriend and best friend, but I'd like to have more people? It's in October, by the way. Please help? Romanian translation - kind of long . . . imi pare rau ca nu ai companie, eu as schimba cu maaaaare placere anturajul de aici pe compania ta in Turcia, dar life's life si uneori nu depinde de noi totul. Ieri au fost ****i cu **** la mine, am avut in ospetie pe consulul nostru la DC Sergiu Odainic cu prietena lui si am chemat si pe baieti sa mai stam de vorba cu totii. Veasti mi-a spus ca tu ai ceva probleme cu mincarea de acolo. Puisor, asa de rau imi pare, sper tare sa-ti revii. La mine la serviciu e in general obval. Eu uneori sunt nevoita sa ramin sa dorm la misiune ca am enorm de mult de lucru. Saptamina care a trecut in general a fost atit de incordata si grea de nici nu pot sa-ti explic. Probabil stii ca in Georgia s-a inceput razboi, rusii ii bombardeaza si cu aceasta ocazie problema incearca a fi solutionata aici la ONU in cadrul Consiulului de Securitate, care se reuneste in fiecare zi, iar uneori si la 1 sau 2 noaptea. Eu trebuie sa particip la sedinte si sa informez acasa, ca situatia asta ne vizeaza direct si pe noi. Deci, ieri cind am stat toti impreuna am putut sa ma mai relaxez putin, ca deja imi parea ca nu mai rezist. In afara de volumul de lucru pe care il am, mai trebuie sa rezolv o sumedenie de probleme cu astia de la misiune, ca isi fac taaare de cap si apar probleme serioase cu ei. Ei isi fac de cap si pina la urma eu ramin cea rea ca le interzic anumite chestii (simbata seara Costea cela s-a urcat bat cleampa la volanul masinii misiunii si a disparut fara veste pina la 3 noaptea. Toti il cautam, inclusiv sotia lui, dar el nici nu raspundea la telefon. Am crezut ca l-au arestat sau a facut vre-un accident. In acest caz eu duc raspundere p-u tot si misiunea ar fi implicata intr-un proces tare strasnic). In general, vara asta e tare grea si incarcata - asta zic toti diplomatii de la ONU. Nu a fost asa pina acum. Eu sunt foarte tare obosita. Cam asta pe la mine, ma bucur ca vom merge cel putin cu baietii la whitewater rafting in weekend-ul care vine, sper ca nu va interveni nimic urgent la mine si voi putea sa ma relaxez putin. Sper tare si tu sa te simti mai bine in Turcia din toate punctele de vedere in timpul care a ramas. Mi-i dor tare sa ma cuprinzi si sa ma linistesti. Tie ti-i dor?
