in rapids water park in west palm beach florida what is the depth in the pools when u get off? i need to know because ive never been 2 a waterpark and i wanted to know because the pools kinda creep me out like i want to know are they 6 ft 2 ft and those 1's that look like a toilet bowel / funnel i dont like the look of those

What kinds of things have you enjoyed doing in West Palm Beach, FL? My girlfriend and I are going to West Palm Beach, FL for a wedding in the beginning of August. We have a couple of ideas about what we will do while we are their: Rapids Water Park, kayaking, fireworks (they are illegal where we are now), the science museum in Ft. Lauderdale, a day or 2 excurision to orlando to see some Disney stuff (though we dont want to spend much time up there because our hotel is already paid for in Boca Raton-which is near West Palm Beach). I used to live in West Palm Beach, but I know it has changed a great deal since I was there last and my girlfriend has only been there once..and this is our first vacation in an extremely long time. So I want to make sure we have a good time. What kinds of things have you done down there, what ideas do you have that are specific to the area, and, if you live down there or know the area, what suggestions do you have for things we can do there that we cant do in Connecticut (which is just about everything)?

Scott Cunningham, 44, the former vice president of Rosenbaum-Cunningham International (RCI), was sentenced to four years and three months by U.S. District Court Judge Paul Maloney in Grand Rapids, Mich. Along with Cunningham, the company's former president, Richard M. Rosenbaum, 61, of Longwood, was sentenced to 10 years and ordered to pay $16.9 million. A third defendant, Christina A. Flocken, 60, who once served as RCI's controller, was sentenced to 2 1/2 and ordered to pay $15.7 million. Maloney also ordered the three to forfeit bank accounts, life insurance policies and cash totaling more than $3 million that prosecutors said was derived from their illegal activities. Cunningham is expected to forfeit a home in the gated community of Ibis Golf and Country Club. In handing down the sentence, Maloney said the crimes involved a "massive tax scheme involving illegal aliens." Assistant Secretary for Homeland Security Julie L. Meyers said, "For too long, unscrupulous employers like those who owned and operated RCI have been able to undercut their competition by building their work force with illegal labor." Myers added that "targeting employers who profit from illegal hiring is a key component to stopping illegal immigration." Prosecutors said that between 2001 and 2005, RCI was paid more than $54 million and evaded $15.7 million in federal taxes. In February 2007, the three were charged in a 23-count indictment with conspiracy to defraud the United States, evading federal employment taxes and harboring illegal immigrantsfor profit. If convicted on all charges, they each faced 15 years in prison. Just before the indictment was handed down, more than 200 undocumented workers from Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala and Haiti were rounded up in a raid on 63 RCI job sites across the country, according to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. They were detained pending deportation proceedings. After a plea agreement was reached in November 2007, Cunningham and Flocken pleaded guilty to charges of conspiring to defraud the government and harboring illegal immigrants. Rosenbaum reached a similar agreement in October 2007. The indictment said that illegal immigrants were "essential to the success of their scheme" because they were willing to be paid in cash, could be fired without legal recourse and were "highly unlikely to report the irregular nature of their employment."

Fictional plane crash for a potential thriller story, what do you think of it? Here it is, I hope you like it so far....I know it's a bit morbid...I was inspired by Final Destination, an EP of CSI and a documentary on TWA flight 800. Euro Airlines Flight 940 (IACA Call sign Foxtrot Golf Niner Four Zero [Euro-Air FG940]) is a Boeing 747-200 aircraft scheduled to do a red-eye flight from West Palm Beach,FL to Brussels, Belgium at 10:05 at night with 341 people on board including a prized black Andulasian stallion stored in the back of the cabin where animals are held. Unbeknownst to the passengers and crew, a manic terrorist with a broken mind has rigged 3 explosive devices on the plane, one in 2 of the planes 4 engines, and one on the belly of the plane where the center wing tank is. The terrorist himself is a man who has such a horrible fear of flying after the September 11 Attacks that he plans to eradicate all forms of aviation from the world. His acts started with slashing the tires to small privately owned prop planes to exploding an EMP on a Metro Airlines Boeing 737 causing the engines to fail, resulting in an emergency landing. The bombing of a jumbo jet will be his most heinous crime yet. The 747 then taxis to the runway to the runway it’s assigned to. “Palm Beach tower, Euro-Air 940 requesting permission to take off from Runway 15, IFR.” The captain tells the control tower. “Euro-Air 940, you are cleared for takeoff.” Came the reply from the ATC, the co-pilot then spools up the 4 old, but tried and true Pratt and Whitney JT3D engines. The plane begins to thunder down the runway at top speed. “80 knots” says the captain. “V1......and Rotation” As soon as the captain says the word “rotation” the explosives rigged in the #2 and #3 engines go off and both of the engines burst into flames with great force and disintegrate completely. Every one of the passengers suddenly panics and they see orange glowing from the windows and the cabin begins to vibrate. The damaged Boeing 747 is still able to become airborne and climbs at a normal pace, but inside the cabin is pure, unadulterated mayhem. The cabin begins to shake violently and passengers are thrown from their seats like ragdolls due to the G-forces. Then the luggage in the compartments above begins to fall out and hit people and the oxygen masks come down. Suddenly, the horse that was stored in the back of the plane breaks out and gallops through the cabin. As the plane shakes and rattles more and more violently, the steed becomes more and more agitated and it begins to kill random passengers by bucking and trampling them to death. As the spooked horse attacks more passengers, a portion of the cabin ceiling collapses, exposing many short-circuiting wires which electrocutes many passengers. One of those wires suddenly zaps a fuel pipe that was damaged and leaking very flammable substances when the engines blew up on takeoff; It results in a massive explosion that rips through the cabin and blows out a massive gaping hole in the fuselage, resulting in a rapid decompression. Several passengers, including the horse are sucked out of the plane and plummet to their deaths. Every single object that was not bolted down was blown out of the aircraft through the hole and to make matters much worse, the wires began to zap more and more fuel pipes causing more explosions as if hand grenades were going off in the plane. It was pure bedlam. In the cockpit, the captain and first officer try their hardest to control their plane and turn back to West Palm Beach Intl for an emergency landing. But they have much difficulty flying the aircraft. The Black Box recorder picks up one final sentence “I don’t think we can hold out much longer.” Then goes dead, suddenly the stall warning light on the flight panel suddenly starts beeping as the plane stops gaining altitude and begins a slow and oddly graceful descent into the Atlantic Ocean. In the cabin, a man gets an oxygen mask wrapped around his neck and he hangs himself to death as the mask gets yanked back up into the compartment. All hope seems to be lost for the hundreds on board the plane as the man’s dead body hangs in front of 2 frightened small children, at that exact moment...... KA-BOOM!!! BANG!!! The third explosive device goes off underneath the center wing tank and the entire jumbo jet erupts in a massive torrent of fire, killing all of the passengers and crew and causing the airliner to break into three. Pieces of flaming wreckage begin to litter the ocean. People from all around the West Palm Beach area are horrified as they witnessed the 747 blow up in mid air. A young couple making an impromptu sex tape in a hotel room unknowingly videotape the final moments of Euro Air Flight 940. A bright flash is seen in a window and a deafening explosion is heard, the couple is shocked to see bright streaks of light fall down from the sky and into the water. All 341 souls on board are dead.
